Some pictures from a small trip to the RBG on Canada Day.
I was down in the Port Dover area today, so I was able to take a side trip to Long Point and capture some of the local wildlife.
A trip to Edwards Gardens in Toronto.
Some lunch shots using my new 120-400mm lens. Lots of fun, even if the sucker weighs a ton.
Some of the pictures I took while at Luther Marsh today. Quite a nice spot and you would be hard pressed to ask for better weather.
Went down to the lake at lunch today and was pleasantly surprised by what was there!
A conservation area near Hamilton, some beautiful falls (notably Tews and Websters) and some smaller ones, all of which were generating some nice ice formations.
I took a trip down to the Wings of Paradise butterfly conservatory near Cambridge. Very nice place, lots of butterflies and a few birds as well.
The weather was far too nice today not to take advantage of it at lunch and get out with the camera. So, some more shots from the waterfront area of Toronto. Renamed, not all photos are from lunch, but all are from around my office building.
We had a frost this morning that lined fallen leaves and grass blades.
