I had an mail issue that blocked the sending of the confirmation emails for new accounts. This has been fixed, but for those that already signed up, I've approved the account and you can log in.

For some reason people, myself included, like water drop photographs. Catching that moment of the splash is a lot of fun (hence the proliferation of them on my site) and it's actually not all that hard.

You can buy these, of course, but for about $100 (give or take), you can build one yourself.

If you have a digital SLR, there are some great tools, software or hardware, out there that are either free or won't totally break the bank. Of course, photography can be an expensive hobby, so your mileage may vary here.
